Designed to inspire big dreams

Our vision at Kabode is to help children express their character and surround themselves with things that inspire them. We want to inspire their biggest dreams!

 

Our founders

Kabode was founded by parents, H and Asma, who when decorating their children's bedrooms, struggled to find bedding that really excited and inspired them. So they decided to make their own.

"As parents, we strongly believe in the value of experiences for our children. We don't like to hold them back from being exposed to new things, and we actively encourage them to discover more about themselves and to have confidence in their own ideas. This is what our designs are all about." 

Once they got into the process, they realised just how many decisions they would need to make and how much of an impact children's bedding has on the environment. They wanted to make bedding that was better for children and better for the planet so they designed their products using only 100% organic cotton and other sustainably produced materials.

In addition to the style and playfulness we were looking for in a brand, H and Asma's daughter, Aneesa, also had very mild eczema. They were therefore conscious of the fabrics they used from a health perspective as well as environmental.

We believe in doing good and being good, both to ourselves and the planet. We aspire to have a positive impact in the world, not only through our products, but through consistently giving back whenever we can. We believe that all children have the right to opportunity. Every child deserves to dream and to live in a sustainable and ethical world.
